# How Does Empregare Use My Data?

Empregare uses your data to connect you with companies and job openings. The full rules are in the [Privacy Policy](https://usinalins.empregare.com/pt-br/pagina/privacidade) and the [Terms of Use](https://usinalins.empregare.com/pt-br/pagina/termos-de-uso), which you agreed to when registering.

## In practice

- When you apply, the company offering the job receives your resume and the answers you submitted.
- In resume searches, companies see what your privacy settings allow (Public, Private, or Invisible).
- Disability data is used only for PcD quotas, with your consent.
- Empregare sends emails about your account, applications, and job openings. You can stop alerts and news.

## What you control

- View and change your data in [My Resume](https://usinalins.empregare.com/pt-br/candidato/curriculo) and in [Settings](https://usinalins.empregare.com/pt-br/candidato/configuracoes).
- See the terms you agreed to in Settings > **Terms You Accepted**.
- Deactivate your resume or delete your account in Settings > **Close Account**.

## Data that must be kept

Public agencies and audited companies need to keep selection process data for a period. Therefore, account deletion may occur after this period ends, as explained in the Terms of Use (item 3.3) and the Privacy Policy (item 9).
